Bomar Hatch Gaskets P2000-29

Black, heavy-duty rubber replacement gaskets for Bomar extruded and cast hatches are available in two models perfect for replacing old, cracked, ineffective rubber gaskets. Round profile (9/16 in. D), adhesive-backed gaskets are for Bomar ports and cast hatches. Molded (3/8 in. D), low-profile gaskets are for Bomar extrusion hatches. Both models are available in 5 ft. and 10 ft. lengths.

The gasket on the left is an old gasket from an early (1997) hatch. Note that it has been permanently compressed over time. In addition, the “L” shaped portion designed to clip over the flange of the aluminum frame is a different shape. The newer, currently available gasket has been changed slightly to create a better grip on the frame during assembly. The older gasket is no longer available.
