Sika 215 Primer - Transparent Wood Primer

Sika® Sika Primer 215 contains chemicals that enhance surface adhesion and long-term bonding for other Sika products, such as polyurethane adhesive/sealants. While the initial cost may seem high, using these primers can actually save money in the long run by significantly extending the lifespan of adhesive bonds.

Sika Primer 215 effectively treats wood (specifically teak and fir) by providing a transparent, pale yellow, solvent-based adhesion layer. It is the ideal primer for bonding with Sika polyurethanes and is also recommended for use with ABS and hard PVC plastics.

• 30 minute dry time
• Use for maximum adhesion of polyurethane adhesive/sealants with all bare wood applications
• Use on ABS and hard PVC after applying Sika Aktivator 205
• Other plastics, specialty paints, and some powder coats may benefit; test first

The Sika Primer 215 cures through exposure to humidity in the air. It should be stored with the cap replaced after each use, and should not be left open unless in use. For frequent use, dispose of the product after one month of opening, while for infrequent use, dispose of after two months.
